MOUNT HAMILTON REP
We are very fortunate at Mount Hamilton to have a tremendous foundation on which we can build. Our founding fathers had a dream to provide a place for our children to have fun, but more importantly to learn the skills of the game of soccer. As the players age and improve their competitive ability, the level of intensity increases. Therefore, the need for a higher level of development and playing competition must be met. With this in mind, the Rep program has to grow to meet these needs. We have it in our grasp to be among the finest clubs in Southern Ontario, but we need the co-operation of every coach and parent within the club to get behind the clubs future projects.
The Rep programs ultimate goal of the club should be coaching and player development initiated by the introduction of the annual clinic for both coaches and players. We encourage all the coaching staff to further their knowledge by taking the certified coaching clinics as offered by NCCP and the Ontario Soccer Association to exceed the minimum requirements.
THE REP MISSION STATEMENT:
TO PROVIDE A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ALL COACHES & PLAYERS AT THE COMPETITIVE LEVEL FROM UNDER 9 THROUGH UNDER 19. THE BENEFIT OF THE PLAYER SHALL BE THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM.
The goal shall be to create a stepping stone between house league and rep. To establish an all star select team in every age group, facilitating an easier transition from house league to Rep. The organization will assist in the graduated coaching programs in conjunction with the various National Coaches Certification Program. These programs will enhance the quality of the individual coaches by providing the methods, expectations and recommendations for each level of play.
